Issue description
The main panels in the admin console are tabbed panes, each tab displaying a different view. It would be great to give users the ability to undock these views so they can see multiple views at once, and so they can rearrange these views on their screen as tehy see fit.

Implemented. The attached screenshots should illustrate how it works.

Changes committed to SVN trunk revision 2786.

I am reopening this issue as I believe some features are missing:
  • users should be able to name the created views as they wish: add a dialog to ask for the name (with a provided default) upon clicking on "Attach to new view"
  • the layout should be persisted, before or when the console is closed, and restored later when it is started again. This should include the location of each view on the screen.

Well, persistence of th elayout is pretty complex and I don't think I will have time to do it for the 4.0 release. I will add a specific feature request for this. Closing this issue.
