Now screensaver node is executing tasks even after closing
« on: December 30, 2006, 12:03:28 PM »

Hii,

The previous bug in the screen saver is solved now and its executing the tasks from the driver.  But now i have noticed that , screensaver node is executing the tasks even after the screensaver is not active.

I have ended up my screensaver node, and again given some tasks through my client.  After some time, the tasks are getting executed!!!  I haven't connected any other nodes.  May be the screensaver node is still running in background.  Pls tell me how to solve this bug?  That is, node is not closing itself after the destruction of screensaver.  Pls help.

Thanks in advance.

Hii,

Sorry that it was the problem with my machine's memory.  I have only 512MB memory and a lot of processes are running on the same.  Thats why the problems came with screensaver node.

        Sorry to all.

Regds,

No problem Abilash, and happy new year 2007.

There is indeed a problem with the screen saver when in preview mode (in the desktop configuration dialog). It is actually executing even then.
That is fixed and will be part of the next release, early next week.
