So I installed a node on a different computer. I changed the server host location to point to the computer I run the server on. Opened the needed ports on the respective firewalls. Now, the node seems to have no problem connecting to the server and it gives me a "reconnected to the server" message. When I open the admin ui however I see that the node isn't listed. Moreover I'm not able to run tasks on the node. What could I be doing wrong?

Ok I solved this. I think the problem is some of the files in the node did not have permission to be run as applications.
