intgration with Queue ?
« on: August 03, 2012, 09:50:08 PM »

Please advise about this topic:
in case we have number of jobs more than the number of nodes in the grid, what will happen in this case?
is there collection (Queue) intgrated with jppf that can store jobs until there is available node to run it ?

thank you,

Hello,

Sorry for this late response.
Yes the driver uses a queue where job may be wating for available node.
Please note that this is a prioritized queue, and jobs with a higher priroity will be executed first. We have documentation how job priority works, and I believe it provides clarification on the behavior.

I hope this helps.

Sincerely,
-Laurent
