« on: January 18, 2012, 11:56:07 AM »

Hello,

i am new to JPPF.i have installed and configured JPPPF successfuly.
what my architecture looks like is:

well i have installed jppf on Rocks cluster that is already running for other purposes..
There are 6 nodes and 1 master system.
i know nothing about java programming.i am an engineer so dont have much experience over software side.well i am working hard on it :)
so, what i want from my grid is that i dont want each and everytime to stand up leave my place and visit my nodes and master computer and enter all the commands to run a drivers on each system.
kindly tell me that is there any "run bash script" with which all the nodes start automatically at runtime.
init.d something like that.
sorry i am Asian ....Poor english
thanx

Hello,

It is possible to run a JPPF node as a Linux/Unix daemon, which should allow you to have it run automatically at system startup.
You will find more information in our documentation at this location: http://www.jppf.org/doc/v2/index.php?title=Deployment_and_run_modes#JPPF_Node_as_a_Linux.2FUnix_daemon

I hope this helps.

Sincerely,
-Laurent
