Welcome Wolfgang
« on: February 01, 2007, 04:25:36 PM »

Hi All,

I'm very happy to announce a new member to our team: Wolfgang Wagner.
We met with Wolfgang on the JPPF forums, were he gave us a hard time with tough questions :-)
Wolfgang has over 6 years of Java experience, coming after many years of Smalltalk development experience.
He has developed an integration between JGap - http://jgap.sourceforge.net - a Java framework to develop genetic algorithms, and JPPF, called JppfGap, which you can check online at: http://217.20.126.36/JSPWiki/Wiki.jsp?page=Jppfgap.

Wolfgang has proposed to work on implementing HTTP tunneling features for JPPF communications, so as to enable the use of JPPF through firewalls. Very cool!

Wolfgang has also founded the VGRID project - http://vgrid.sourceforge.net/ -, and is willing to give it up to join JPPF.
Wow, Wolfgang I am moved and inspired by your courage!

Thank you so much for joining the JPPF team and welcome aboard!

Hi everybody
I am proud to be accepted to be a member jppf-team.
As laurent mentioned I will try to implement some kind of http tunneling for jppf. There is already an open task on that topic and I will post my ideas there.
I hope we will have an interesting time together and that I can advance jppf somehow.
