Web installer doesn't keep executable flag on Linux
« on: July 12, 2013, 09:34:48 AM »

I installed JPPF with web installer http://www.jppf.org/download/jppf_ws.jnlp

The start*.sh were unpacked without executable flag, had to chmod +x them.
Unpacking the standalone packages works fine.

It is of course minor problem, wanted to let you know about it.

Sorry, the same problem exists when unpacking the standalone packages.

Hi Martin,

Thank you very much for reporting this issue. I registered a bug report for it: JPPF-169 Distribution scripts are missing the execute permission.
A fix will be delivered as part of the upcoming JPPF v3.3.5 maintenance release.

Sincerely,
-Laurent
