IP Filter for discovering
« on: April 23, 2013, 05:15:00 PM »

Hi there, my first post here.

I have a simple question about server discovery.
You can define a IP filter using property : jppf.discovery.ipv4.include (and other : ipv6 and exclude) as described in documentation.

But in IPFilter.java, it seems that the property name is based on prefix (jppf.discovery) and include.ipv4 instead of ipv4.include :o

Which one is the good property name ?

Thanks for replying !

A+

Hello,

It is indeed "jppf.discovery.include.ipv4" that is correct, as you saw in IPFilter.
Could you please let us know where in the documentation you found this discrepancy, so that we can fix it?

Thanks,
-Laurent

Hello,

Thank you very much for reporting these issues.
I registered a bug report to track them: JPPF-142 Erroneous property names for discovery filters. A fix will be included in tomorrow's v3.3.1 release.

Sincerely,
-Laurent
