Issue description
Currently, the idle mode kills the node when the desktop becomes busy, and restarts it when it is idle. This can be an issue if the node is executing long-lived tasks at the time it is killed, because the task will be cancelled and will have to start all over again when it is resubmitted (possibly to another node). One improvement would be to have the option to suspend the job currently executed in the node, instead of killing the node.
