Issue description
From this forum thread:

"Mostly one use ClientDataProvider just because it enable task to send a piece of code to be executed on the client. It does not necessarily relate to sharing data among tasks. Actually, it would be better for task to have such ability by default."

This is a very pertinent point and it makes sense to include the functionality directly in the tasks.

This feature is now implemented and committed as SVN trunk revision 2367. I have added unit tests accordingly.

Documentation is still missing, I'll close this feature request as soon as it is done.
