Issue description
In the driver, for each online node, the driver maintains a JMX connection via the JMXMP remote connector. The JPPF code creates one thread per connection, and JMXMP creates (as far as I could see) more than one thread as well. When the number of nodes is large, this generates a lot of threads and may overload the driver JVM. We would like to find ways to reduce this number of threads.
